Hard work both on and off-site this month:

On Site:

  • Camping Areas cleared: Camping areas have been set aside for those groups that have registered, paid and chosen a site. There are a number of other locations that can accommodate large marquees and double bell tents. There is nearly 5 acres (4.6 football fields) of camping space available for 200-250 people, so there is plenty of room for everyone's tents and encampments. Maps of Camping Areas are available here and further details about each campsite is available here.

  • Archery Competition and Infrastructure: Hafdan (Bega Valley Archers) have stepped up and offered to run the Archery Competition at the XIVAMC2007. They have proposed a variety of shoots off the back of the fort and it's shaping up to be a fantastic event. Danelaw has been clearing the field behind the fort and establishing the required infrastucture to support the event. With luck it will be ready in time for Beorg-Wic in October 2006.

Off Site:

  • Merchandise: The first run of official XIVAMC2007 Merchandise has arrived from the manufacturer. The hats and polo shirts look fantastic and they are the sort of clothing that you would be confident to wear with pride. The manufacturer has done a great job on reproducing the logo in high detail embroidery and the effect is a very smart looking item.
